Ralph Bauer Recipient of the 2016 Outstanding Director of Graduate Studies Award

Ralph Bauer is the recipient of the 2016 Outstanding Director of Studies Award. He was nominated by the Graduate English Organization, led by Susie Compton.
The GEO nominating letter praises Ralph for his work in “funding, progress benchmarks, leave-of-absence policies, and more general community building,” and draws special attention to his openness and accessibility. It is worth adding that Ralph has been a model administrator, in terms of both efficiency and innovation. Congratulations to Ralph on this much deserved honor!
