Douglas Kern Presents Research and Serves as Academic Advisor
Douglas Kern is serving as the Academic Advisor for Amiri Baraka’s entries in the 2014 Contemporary Literary Criticism and Drama Criticism series, published by Gale. He also presented his research at both the Society for Cinema and Media Studies Conference in Montreal and Comparative Drama Conference in Baltimore this March (2015). His SCMS talk was titled “Brando Returns: Marlon Brando’s Superman Legacy,” while his CDC talk highlighted his most recent publication regarding Amiri Baraka’s political drama.
