Department Receives Bronze Certification

Great news! The department of English has received Bronze Certification in our efforts to become a Green Office.

The certificate for the Main English Office will be displayed in the MEO kitchen. This certification will last for one year, when the Bronze certification can be renewed, so long as we continue to keep with our pledge. We can also think about going to the next step of Silver certification.

With Bronze certification, we can show the Green Office seal on our department website, stationery, e-mails, etc. The logo attachments is for your use. In addition, you can become part of the community on campus whose effort is to make the University of Maryland achieve the top in the US for sustainability efforts. Out of 173 schools around the country, UMD is currently number 13. At present there are also 428 sustainable classes on campus.
