Alumnus Reginald Dwayne Betts Reads at the Folger

Reginald Dwayne Betts, who earned his BA in English in 2009, is reading in the O.B. Hardison Poetry series at the Folger Shakespeare Library at 7:30 PM on Monday, 2/8/16. 

Betts's second book of poetry Bastards of the Reagan Era was published by Four Way Books this past October (2015) and is shortlisted for the 2016 PEN Open Book Award. His other books include the poetry collection, Shahid Reads His Own Palm (Alice James Books, 2010), and the memoir, A Question of Freedom: A Memoir of Learning, Survival, and Coming of Age in Prison (Avery, 2009). He is currently a student at Yale Law School.
