April 21, 2015 English | Center for Literary and Comparative Studies

Department alum, Jason Reynolds, recently participated in the Creative Arts Teen Summit at the University of Arizona.

Reynolds is featured in a video-story shot at the Creative Arts Teen Summit by Mitch Riley, a Producer at the PBS/NPR Affiliate, Arizona Public Media in Tuscon. At the Summit, 300 teenagers from Southern Arizona high schools joined authors, including Reynolds, and illustrators for panel discussions and workshops on the "creative life." Riley noted that Reynolds plays a significant role in the video-story and is a powerful speaker and storyteller. He also noted that the "young audience was clearly impacted by his words."
