We will read Five Love Letters from a Nun to a Cavalier (1686) and brief selections from Clare Brant’s Eighteenth-Century Letters and British Culture (2006).
Five Love Letters from a Nun to a Cavalier—a relatively short text—is available through “Early English Books Online,” which can be accessed through McKeldin’s research port. We will read the first edition (1686).
