Scott’s talk, entitled “Local Designs: Innovative Problem-Solving in the Professional Writing Course,” described his work with Maryland’s Academy for Innovation and Entrepreneurship to integrate design thinking into the professional writing curriculum, while Jessica’s lecture on “Undergraduate Research 2.0: Rhetorical Literacies for the Digital Archive” presented a pedagogical approach to teaching students how to critically examine and rhetorically engage a range of professional, scholarly, and civic online archives.
