Join us for the Washington Area Early American Seminar's first meeting of the academic year. We will meet at 4pm in TLF 2110 on Friday 19 September to discuss Ralph Bauer’s seminar paper, titled “The 'America of Nature': Francis Bacon and the Archaeology of a Paradigm.” Ralph is currently Associate Professor in the Department of English and Comparative Literature at the University of Maryland.
