"Best Characters in a Screenplay" Award and two new short story publications!
Senior Lecturer Joseph Ross Angelella’s short story "The Room of Ransom Black" was recently published in MicroLit Almanac. Another short story, "Wheelwoman," was published in Close to the Bone.
In an Artist’s Statement for MicroLit Almanac, Angelella tells the reader: “I am obsessed with the external as manifestation of the internal, focusing on space and time and things as representative of the mind. My prose leverages dramatic principles of narrative to drive the story and reveal the psychological landscape of my characters.”
Excitingly, Angelella’s screenplay "Kill these Motherf***ing Trolls!" won "Best Characters in a Screenplay" at the Baltimore Next Media Web Fest. Angelella is pictured above holding the award!
