The Edge Reading Series at Bridge Street Books presents Elizabeth Arnold, Anthony Madrid & Joshua Weiner

Winner of an Amy Lowell scholarship, a Whiting award, and fellowships from the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study, the Rockefeller Foundation, the Fine Arts Center, Yaddo, and MacDowell, ELIZABETH ARNOLD has published four books of poems: LIFE, EFFACEMENT, CIVILIZATION, and THE REEF. She is on the MFA faculty at the University of Maryland.

ANTHONY MADRID lives in Chicago. His poems have appeared in Best American Poetry 2013, B O D Y, Boston Review, Fence, Lana Turner, LIT, and Poetry. His first book is titled I AM YOUR SLAVE NOW DO WHAT I SAY (Canarium Books, 2012).

JOSHUA WEINER is the author of three books of poetry, most recently, THE FIGURE OF A MAN BEING SWALLOWED BY A FISH (Chicago, 2013). He is also the editor of AT THE BARRIERS: ON THE POETRY OF THOM GUNN, and the poetry editor at Tikkun magazine. He is the recipient of a Whiting Writers’ Award, the Rome Prize from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, and a 2014 fellowship from the Guggenheim Memorial Foundation, among others. A professor of English at the University of Maryland, he lives with his family in Washington DC.
