MFA Student Laura Neal named as a 'writer of promise' and receives a James Tate Scholarship to attend the Juniper Summer Writing Institute.  Hosted by the MFA for Poets & Writers at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Juniper is an extraordinary week of workshops, craft sessions, Q&As, readings, and manuscript consultations. Juniper has become a vital gathering place for writers of all kinds to immerse themselves in the writer’s life. Laura will be in conference and in company of poets: Evie Shockley, Emily Pettit, Heather Christle, Zachary Schomburg, and Matthew Zapruder.
