Congratulations to Karen and Abby, two members of the English department who have won service awards from the College of Arts and Humanities!
Karen Nelson, Associate Director of the Center for Literary and Comparative Studies, has won the ARHU staff award for service to a department.
Abby Shantzis, an Honors English major who graduated this spring (and who won the Joyce Tayloe Horrell Award for the most outstanding graduate in English), has won the ARHU undergraduate student service award.
Congratulations to Karen and Abby on these wonderful awards, which will be conferred at the College Convocation on September 23.
