Bob Levine recently gave talks on Frederick Douglass at the Douglass Papers in Indianapolis and at SMU. He has upcoming talks at the University of Rochester, Texas A&M, and Smith College. The new edition of The Norton Anthology of American Literature, for which he serves as General Editor (and editor of the 1820-1865 volume), will be published in December. His coedited Norton Critical Edition of Melville's Pierre will be published in January.
