Faculty in our department whose work relates to this effort include Ralph Bauer, Vincent Caretta, Merle Collins, Julius Fleming, Neil Fraistat, Robert Levine, Shirley Wilson Logan, Matthew Kirschenbaum, Kari Kraus, Zita Nunes, Sharada Balachandran Orihuela, Barry Pearson, Sangeeta Ray, Mary Helen Washington, and Edlie Wong.

The Area Groups for African American/African Diaspora and Textual & Digital Studies foster teaching and research exchange around these topics.
