Through the Forest: Nature in Renaissance Song and Poetry

Celebrate Earth Day by journeying back in time to listen and learn about the soundscapes of early modern Europe through song and poetry exploring nature and all of its wonders—nature as a place of escape, play, danger and healing. This performance will feature singing by the Maryland Palestrina Choir, readings from Shakespeare's works by The Maryland Shakespeare Players and soloists from the UMD School of Music.
