Dr. Tita Chico promoted to Professor

Dr. Tita Chico has been promoted to the rank of Professor.

She published The Experimental Imagination: Literary Knowledge and Science in the British Enlightenment with Stanford University Press in 2018, and her new book, Wonder in Literature and Science of the Long Eighteenth Century, is under contract with Cambridge University Press. This year she begins a three-year term as Member-at-Large elected to the Executive Board of the American Society for Eighteenth Century Studies, and will be a Research Fellow at New College, Oxford University during Trinity Term 2020.
