English Department Coronavirus Update

June 15, 2020

To prioritize the health and safety of our community, the University of Maryland plans for a fall semester of hybrid in-person and remote instruction.

New Fall 2020 Update from the Office of the President

The University Health Center (UHC) is in regular communication with county and state health officials and is sharing additional information as it becomes available.

University Schedule

Prince George’s County Executive announced that the county’s stay-at-home order is lifted on June 1. University System of Maryland (USM) institutions plans to welcome students back to campus this fall in a hybrid fashion, combining at least some on-campus, in-person instruction with remote learning.

The re-opening of the campus this fall is subject to changing conditions and must be in compliance with federal, state, county, and USM guidance.
