A busy summer with lots of news in the Professional Writing Program.

Two photographs by Alexandra Calloway were selected as part of a juried art show titled "Efflorescence" and are on display at the Bowie City Hall through Sept. 28. Alexandra’s two photographs, "Hosta Waves" and "Shades of Green," can be viewed online at http://cityofbowie.org/DocumentCenter/View/540. These prints are also available for purchase.

In June, Pam Gerhardt’s book, Girl With Green Hair in Landscape, was accepted for publication by the University of Missouri Press. One week after Pam signed the contract, the University of Missouri folded the press. The editor at the University of Wisconsin Press is interested in the book and has sent the manuscript to two readers.
