The Writing Center maintains a list of consultants who are available for outside work in the following areas:

  • Tutoring services for elementary, middle, and high school students;
  • Additional assistance outside of normal Writing Center hours for undergraduate students;
  • Mechanics and grammar assistance for non-native English speakers; and
  • Proofreading and editing services for graduate students, faculty, and staff (including theses, dissertations, manuscripts, etc.)*

Outside editing and tutoring services are billed at an hourly rate which varies per tutor.

*Editing services are not available for undergraduate coursework, as this would constitute a violation of the University’s Code of Academic Integrity.
