Overview

Biography:

I am currently writing a dissertation that examines the racial, gender, and class politics of hospitality in twentieth- and twenty-first-century U.S. fiction. In addition to teaching six years at the high school level, I have taught numerous courses at the university level, including American Literature Since 1865, Contemporary American Literature, The Novel, Western Literature Since The Renassiance, African-American Literature, Post-9/11 American Fiction & Film, American Hospitality, and The Literature of Immigration.
