ENGL278P, Writing for Change, will bring service-learning to the English department. Students will combine service with scholarship as they mentor Northwestern High School students to create and showcase work at a writing-based advocacy event in April 2013.

The 16th Annual College Park Scholars Academic Showcase will feature sophomore scholars presenting their practicum experiences through poster presentations. Presenters include six English majors (alphabetical order by last names): Kimberly Choi, Juliano Kathryn, Mian Khalid, Kieran McGuigan, Kara Melton, and Alexander Schegal.
