Awards for Graduate Student Teaching

The following have been recognized for their excellent work in the department classrooms!

Decisions have been made regarding the 2010-2011 Distinguished Teaching Assistant awards for English.

The winners are: Adam Binkley, Conor Burke, Kimberly Calder, Martin Camper, Kyle Garton, Lewis Gleich, Alison Hennessee, Amy Katzel, Adam Lloyd, Kara Morillo, Rebecca Borden Peters, Sarah Sillin, and Nathaniel Underland. And, for Comparative Literature, the award goes to Jeremy Metz. These TAs will be honored at a ceremony at the campus Center for Teaching Excellence on May 11.

The winners of the James A. Robinson awards for 2010 are Michelle S. Lang Boswell (for outstanding graduate student teaching), Thomas Earles (for excellence in teaching creative writing), and Maggie Ellen Ray (for outstanding graduate student teaching). The awards will be presented at the English department commencement ceremony on Friday, May 20th.
