Undergraduate Studies Presents: How We Teach Revision
Please join departmental colleagues for an informal chat via Zoom about ‘How we teach revision’ on Wednesday, April 27 from 12-1.
All instructors are welcome, from across the department (graduate students, PTK and TTK faculty). Emily Mitchell, Rion Scott, Gabrielle Fuentes, and Maud Casey will get us started with a few thoughts about how they teach revision in the creative writing classroom, but there won’t be formal presentations or guest speakers. Instead, the goal is to share best practices, assignments, activities, and other ideas that work for you and from which colleagues can benefit.
This conversation is part of the English Department’s ongoing efforts to reimagine undergraduate teaching. Please feel welcome to eat lunch during the event.
