Lost and Found

THIS LOST AND FOUND IS ONLY FOR TAWES HALL

Items that are lost and found in Tawes Hall are handled by the Main English Office in 2119 Tawes Hall. If you have lost an item, you can check to see if it’s been located by calling 301-405-3789 or emailing englmeo@umd.edu.

You must be able to specifically identify the item lost, including color or distinguishing features. All lost items must be picked-up in-person by the owner. No items will be mailed or given to friends or family. In order to retrieve a lost item you must also present a valid UMD or government-issued ID.

The lost and found is emptied at the end of each month.  Credit cards, wallets, and other time-sensitive items are retained for one week. After these timeframes valuable or personally identifiable items are brought to the Campus Police.
