Recent works and updates.

UMD English PhD candidate Konstantinos Pozoukidis recently had two publications out in Spring 2021 and a conference presentation in June 2021.

The essay "Out of Time" was published by Romantic Circles Unbound: 21.1 Aftermaths on the shifting environment and challenges international students face.

The essay "The Survival of Non-productive Labour in Mary Shelley’s The Last Man" was published by Eighteenth-Century Fiction and responds to the question scholars frequently raise in relation to Mary Shelley’s The Last Man (1826), namely what is the purpose of this novel, which portrays the annihilation of the human race by a virus without providing any hope for the regeneration of humanity.

Pozoukidis presented “The Other History of Mary Prince: Black-Crip Resistance” at the Black Studies & Romanticism: A Virtual Conference, hosted by Mount Holyoke College.
