Join Michael Olmert and William Pressly (Art History) for a brown bag discussion of recent research, explorations, and teaching of eighteenth-century London, architecture, representations and adaptations of Shakespeare, and more.

William Pressly has most recently published The Artist as Original Genius: Shakespeare's "Fine Frenzy" in Late-Eighteenth-Century British Art (University of Delaware Press, 2007), and is currently working on a book examining James Barry's murals at the Royal Society of Arts in London.

Michael Olmert's publications include Kitchens, Smokehouses, and Privies: Outbuildings and the Architecture of Daily Life in the Eighteenth Century Mid-Atlantic (Cornell University Press, 2009).
