April 7, 2011

Distinguished classicist Mary Beard, Professor of Classics at Cambridge, will speak on campus Thursday, April 7, at 4:00 pm in Tydings 0117.

Professor Beard is the 2011 Mellon Lecturer at the National Gallery of Art, where she will give six Sunday lectures (March 27-May 8) on "The Twelve Caesars: Images of Power from Ancient Rome to Salvador Dali."
