The English Honors Program offers
lively and challenging seminars, the opportunity to do a long-term
project in an area of special interest, and the sort of intellectual
and literary community that you might find at a small liberal arts
college. Students work closely with faculty members and peers in
seminars and on a Senior Project. English Honors provides an excellent
preparation for graduate school and many of our successful students
have gone on to graduate programs in English, Creative Writing, Law,
and Business, while others have found their niche in the numerous
fields that value research and writing skills.
