Financial Aid Information
| Financial assistance from the Department and the University is available for full-time students in three main forms: fellowships, teaching assistantships, and graduate assistantships. The central criterion in all departmental financial aid decisions is academic merit. We seek to fund all PhD students and MA students who are awarded automatic admission to the PhD. We do occasionally fund exceptionally promising MA students. All applicants intending to pursue full-time study in the PhD or MA/PhD program are automatically considered for financial aid. | |
