We seek applicants who will enhance our highly motivated, academically accomplished, and intellectually and culturally diverse student body. In the admissions cycle to select the class entering in fall 2010, we will be looking to fill a very small number of students in our PhD program and we are not admitting MA students for fall 2010.
We normally receive about 350 applications annually for both programs; applications for the MA outnumber those for the PhD by approximately ten to fifteen percent. Admission to the PhD is highly competitive.
