Grossman Lecture: Carissa Harris

Carissa Harris is Assistant Professor of English at Temple University. Professor Harris is the author of Obscene Pedagogies: Transgressive Talk and Sexual Education in Late Medieval Britain (Cornell UP 2018). Her research and teaching focus on Middle English and Middle Scots literature, Chaucer, gender and sexuality studies, rape and consent, history of the book, alcohol and alehouse culture, and the history of obscenity.
