ENGL499 - Advanced Poetry Workshop
This workshop will emphasize the close reading and analysis of student work, with special attention to the process of revision. Students will be encouraged to experiment with a variety of forms and conventions suitable to the development of their individual style. Throughout the semester we will consider a broad range of modern and contemporary poems, and we will also devote time to discussing issues of prosody and genre.
