ENGL101 course assignments are made by the Director of Academic Writing.

Creative Writing course assignments are made by the Director of Creative Writing in consultation with the Associate Chair. Although these courses are generally reserved for MFA students, the need to staff one or more of them sometimes occurs.

Scheduling Preferences

     
Indicate all of the days and times you are able to teach for each semester. Teachers can expect to alternate between MWF and TuTh schedules each semester. Every effort will be made to accommodate scheduling preferences, but individual requests may have to yield to departmental demands.

This new form should be completed by PTK faculty who teach in the Academic Writing Program and who have taught or would like to be considered for courses scheduled directly by the Main English Office (MEO). Please note, this is the only MEO schedule request form that you will fill out for 2017-18, and all assignments will be based on the information you supply.

PTK faculty who teach in the Professional Writing Program and would like to be considered for courses scheduled by MEO should also complete this form, in addition to the course/scheduling preferences form solicited every semester by the Professional Writing Program as described below.

Please submit this form no later than Friday, March 3, 2017.

     
Professional Writing: Assignments for the Professional Writing Program (ENGL 390-398) are made by the director of PWP. PTK faculty who would like to be considered for teaching assignments originating in the Professional Writing Program (PWP) should complete this semesterly form:
